Omnicell, Inc. in Providence, RI seeks an Automation Pharmacy Technician 4 to support the XR2 Central Pharmacy Automation System, helping hospital pharmacies operate safely and efficiently while clinicians focus on patient care.

This role offers hands-on training, comprehensive benefits starting day one, and a clear path across Professional Services, Training, Consulting, and Management as you grow. Work Mon-Fri 8:00–4:30 with occasional travel; base pay $25–$27 per hour plus a full benefits

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Active RI Pharmacy Technician license/registration.
• Active National Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB/NHA/ExCPT).
• Working knowledge of pharmacy automation.

Responsibilities

• Operate Omnicell XR2 automation systems on site.
• Perform medication returns and restocking.
• Monitor formulary inventory levels and system trends.
• Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with SOPs.
• Provide SME support for onsite Omnicell robot.
