Omnicell is seeking a PRN Automation Pharmacy Technician 4 (On Call) to support XR2 automation at customer hospital sites in PA. This on-call role covers call-outs, PTOs, LOAs, and peak needs while enabling safe, efficient medication automation for pharmacy teams focused on patient care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Active State Board of Pharmacy Technician License/Registration for PA.
• Active National Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB / CPhT / EXCPT).
• Working knowledge of pharmacy automation.
• COVID vaccination.

Responsibilities

• Operate and support Omnicell XR2 automation in accordance with SOPs and best practices.
• Manage medication inventory, restocking, returns, and formulary accuracy.
• Perform routine equipment inspection, cleaning, maintenance, and basic troubleshooting.
• Monitor system performance and elevate unresolved issues to TAC or the appropriate helpdesk.
• Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with Pharmacy Services policies.
• Communicate proactively with pharmacy leadership and customers to resolve issues.
• Serve as a subject matter resource for Omnicell team members as needed.
• Participate in training and maintain all required certifications and credentials.
