Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health Inc. is seeking a licensed X-ray Technologist to perform diagnostic radiographic examinations with strong communication and computer skills.

Candidates must have an AMA‑approved Radiologic Technology program, ARRT certification, and NJ state license, plus BLS within 60 days of employment.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED.
• Graduation from AMA approved Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT certification or eligible.
• NJ state license in Diagnostic Radiology.
• AHA Basic Life Support within 60 days of start.

The X-ray Technologist is responsible for obtaining diagnostic radiographic examinations.

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

• High School diploma, general equivalency diploma (GED), and/or GED equivalent programs.
• Completion of an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills that may include but are not limited to Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite platforms.

Licenses and Certifications Required:

• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Certification
• NJ state license for Diagnostic Radiology (D.R.)
• AHA Basic Health Care Life Support HCP Certification within 60 days of entering position
