Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health Inc. is seeking an X-ray Technologist to perform diagnostic radiographic examinations and support excellent patient care within our Radiology team.

The role requires completion of an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program, ARRT certification, NJ state license, and BLS within 60 days, plus strong communication and computer skills. On-site, full-time position with opportunities to collaborate across departments.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Completion of an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills with Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite.

The X-ray Technologist is responsible for obtaining diagnostic radiographic examinations.

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

• High School diploma, general equivalency diploma (GED), and/or GED equivalent programs.
• Completion of an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills that may include but are not limited to Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite platforms.

Licenses and Certifications Required:

• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Certification
• NJ state license for Diagnostic Radiology (D.R.)
• AHA Basic Health Care Life Support HCP Certification within 60 days of entering position
