Job summary

Atlantic Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist in New Jersey to perform X-ray imaging for diagnostic purposes under the Radiologist's direction. You will produce high-quality images to aid diagnosis and treatment, and assist with preparation and record-keeping.

Responsibilities include operating imaging equipment, ensuring safety and patient comfort, obtaining history, explaining procedures, and coordinating daily imaging workflows in a compliant healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an Accredited Radiography School.
• 0-3 years of experience as a Radiographer or relevant area.
• NJ State Radiologic Technologist (RT) license.
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Certification.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.

Responsibilities

• Performs and provides appropriate imaging and treatment processes in accordance with state, federal, and professional guidelines.
• Demonstrates knowledge of a variety of imaging equipment including setup, utilization, troubleshooting, and proper care and sanitization of all equipment.
• Obtains patient history, explains routine procedures, and addresses patient queries or concerns.
• Maintains all equipment for procedures, assesses safety, physical, and physiological comfort of patient.
• Monitors need for procedure revisions and coordinates daily imaging procedures.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
