Job summary

Patient First is seeking a Radiologic Technologist for on-site duties in New Jersey. The role focuses on obtaining quality X-rays with correct positioning and exposure, while upholding patient safety and accurate documentation of imaging records.

The incumbent will support physicians and nurses, assist with patient care, manage imaging paperwork, and maintain clean, safe work areas in compliance with OSHA guidelines. Licensing requirements apply as per state regulations.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older and high school graduate or equivalent.
• ARRT registered radiologic technologist or graduate of an approved program required.
• Licensed, if required in the state.
• Ability to hear bells, pages, and phone systems; good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Obtain quality x-rays using correct position and radiation exposure.
• Follow safety procedures to minimize exposure for patients and staff.
• Create and document x-ray CD copies per Patient First guidelines.
• Assist physicians, extenders, and nurses with patient treatment and care.
• Maintain x-ray paperwork and clean work area per OSHA guidelines.
