Job summary

Atlantic Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to X-ray patients using radiologic equipment, producing high-quality diagnostic images and maintaining records as directed by the Radiologist.

The role requires graduation from an accredited radiography program, NJ RT license, ARRT certification, and BLS certification, with preferred experience in a health care facility. Morristown, NJ location.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an Accredited Radiography School.
• NJ State Radiologic Technologist (RT) license.
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Certification.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.

Responsibilities

• Performs imaging procedures and provides appropriate imaging and treatment processes in accordance with state, federal, and professional guidelines.
• Demonstrates knowledge of a variety of imaging equipment including setup, utilization, troubleshooting, and proper care and sanitization of all equipment.
• Obtains patient history, explains routine procedures, and addresses patient queries or concerns.
• Maintains all equipment for procedures, assesses safety, physical, and physiological comfort of patient.
• Coordinates daily imaging procedures and monitors need for procedure revisions.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Education

Graduate of an Accredited Radiography School

NJ State Radiologic Technologist (RT) license

American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Certification

Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
