Atlantic Health is seeking a Radiographer to perform diagnostic radiographic procedures using radiologic equipment under the direction of Radiologists in Morristown, NJ. The role emphasizes high-quality imaging, patient safety, and meticulous record-keeping.

Qualifications include graduation from an accredited radiography program, NJ RT license, ARRT certification, and BLS. Prior hospital experience is preferred; duties include equipment maintenance and patient interaction.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an Accredited Radiography School.
• 0-3 years of experience as a Radiographer or relevant area.
• NJ State Radiologic Technologist (RT) license.
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Certification.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.

Responsibilities

• Performs and provides appropriate imaging and treatment processes in accordance with state, federal, and professional guidelines.
• Demonstrates knowledge of imaging equipment including setup, utilization, troubleshooting, and proper care and sanitization.
• Obtains patient history, explains routine procedures, and addresses patient queries or concerns.
• Maintains all equipment for procedures, assesses safety, physical, and physiological comfort of patient.
• Monitors need for procedure revisions and coordinates daily imaging procedures.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
