Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking an X-ray Technologist to obtain diagnostic radiographic examinations and support patient care in our imaging department.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, completion of an AMA‑approved Radiologic Technology program, ARRT Certification, NJ Diagnostic Radiology license, and BLS within 60 days of hire. Strong communication and computer skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED.
• Completion of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; proficient computer skills (Microsoft Office/Google Suite).
• ARRT Certification required; NJ state license for Diagnostic Radiology; AHA BLS within 60 days of hire.

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

• High School diploma, general equivalency diploma (GED), and/or GED equivalent programs.
• Completion of an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  Proficient computer skills that may include but are not limited to Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite platforms.

Licenses and Certifications Required:

• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Certification
• NJ state license for Diagnostic Radiology (D.R.)
• AHA Basic Health Care Life Support HCP Certification within 60 days of entering position
