Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health Inc. is seeking an X-ray Technologist to perform diagnostic radiographic examinations with accuracy and efficiency in our radiology department.

The role requires completion of AMA approved Radiologic Technology program, ARRT certification, NJ state license, and BLS within 60 days. Strong communication and computer skills are essential to support patient care and collaborate with the healthcare team.

The X-ray Technologist is responsible for obtaining diagnostic radiographic examinations.

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

• High School diploma, general equivalency diploma (GED), and/or GED equivalent programs.
• Completion of an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills that may include but are not limited to Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite platforms.

Licenses and Certifications Required:

• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Certification
• NJ state license for Diagnostic Radiology (D.R.)
• AHA Basic Health Care Life Support HCP Certification within 60 days of entering position
