Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking an X-ray Technologist to perform diagnostic radiographic examinations in our radiology department. The ideal candidate will hold an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology, a NJ state license, AHA BLS-HCP certification within 60 days, and demonstrate excellent communication and computer skills using MS Office or Google Suite.

You will work with a collaborative team to support patient care and safety standards while delivering high-quality imaging

The X-ray Technologist is responsible for obtaining diagnostic radiographic examinations.

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

• High School diploma, general equivalency diploma (GED), and/or GED equivalent programs.
• Completion of an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills that may include but are not limited to Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite platforms.

Licenses and Certifications Required:

• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Certification
• NJ state license for Diagnostic Radiology (D.R.)
• AHA Basic Health Care Life Support HCP Certification within 60 days of entering position
