About Us

Tennessee Orthopaedic Alliance is the largest and most comprehensive orthopaedic surgery group in Tennessee. Responsibilities
  • Perform satisfactory radiographic procedures as requested by physicians.
  • Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment to produce quality radiographs.
  • Lift and transport patients via wheelchair and stretcher.
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
  • Gain patient cooperation by reducing anxieties, explaining exams, and answering questions.
  • Prepare patients for radiographic procedures through proper dressing, positioning, and equipment adjustments.
  • Minimize radiation exposure to patients and staff using radiation protection techniques, beam-restrictive devices, and shielding.
Requirements
Educational Requirements
  • High school diploma required.
  • Certificate or Associate/Bachelor’s degree in radiologic technology required.
  • State of Tennessee Medical Board X-ray Operator’s License required.
Qualifications and Experience
  • ARRT certification required.
  • Prior orthopedic x-ray experience preferred.
  • C-Arm experience is a plus.
Travel Requirements
  • Willingness to float to other TOA locations when needed.
