Job summary

OrthoAtlanta, LLC is seeking an X-Ray Technologist to join our orthopedic specialty clinic on-site in a full-time capacity. You will explain procedures, position patients, and operate X-ray equipment to produce diagnostic images of bones and joints.

The role requires completion of an accredited radiologic program and ARRT certification or eligibility, with strong communication skills and patient-centered care. Hands-on imaging experience and a collaborative team environment are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT certification or eligible to obtain ARRT.
• 1+ year of experience as an X-Ray Technician (preferred).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative healthcare team.
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care.

Responsibilities

• Explain procedures clearly and ensure correct patient positioning.
• Operate X-ray equipment to produce diagnostic images.
• Apply immobilization techniques and follow safety protocols.
• Perform routine checks on X-ray equipment and ensure quality control.
• Monitor and restock X-ray supplies for smooth clinic operations.
• Record procedures and imaging results in the EMR system.
• Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients and providers.
• Work independently and as part of a broader clinical team.

What You'll Do

As an X-Ray Technologist at OrthoAtlanta, you’ll:

• Explain procedures clearly, address concerns, and ensure patients are positioned correctly for musculoskeletal imaging
• Operate X-ray equipment safely and efficiently to produce diagnostic digital images of bones, joints, and soft tissues
• Apply proper immobilization techniques and follow established safety protocols at all times
• Perform routine checks on X-ray equipment and adhere to quality control standards
• Monitor and restock X-ray supplies as needed to ensure smooth clinic operations
• Record procedures and imaging results accurately and efficiently within the electronic medical record system
• Pays close attention to detail and values accuracy in diagnostic imaging
• Communicates clearly and compassionately with patients and healthcare providers
• Thrives in a busy clinical setting and can manage multiple imaging requests efficiently
• Works independently while also collaborating with a broader clinical team

What You’ll Need

• High school diploma or GED
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
• Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiography (preferred not required) or eligible to obtain ARRT certification
• 1+ year of experience as an X-Ray Technician (preferred)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative healthcare team
