Job summary

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiography.
• 1+ year of experience as an X-Ray Technician (preferred).

What You'll Do

As an X-Ray Technologist at OrthoAtlanta, you’ll:

• Explain procedures clearly, address concerns, and ensure patients are positioned correctly for musculoskeletal imaging
• Operate X-ray equipment safely and efficiently to produce diagnostic digital images of bones, joints, and soft tissues
• Apply proper immobilization techniques and follow established safety protocols at all times
• Perform routine checks on X-ray equipment and adhere to quality control standards
• Monitor and restock X-ray supplies as needed to ensure smooth clinic operations
• Record procedures and imaging results accurately and efficiently within the electronic medical record system
• Pay close attention to detail and value accuracy in diagnostic imaging
• Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients and healthcare providers
• Thrive in a busy clinical setting and can manage multiple imaging requests efficiently
• Work independently while also collaborating with a broader clinical team

What You’ll Need

• High school diploma or GED
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
• Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiography
• State certified by South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association (SCRQSA)
• 1+ year of experience as an X-Ray Technician (preferred)
