Job summary

OrthoAtlanta in Lawrenceville, GA is seeking a full-time X-Ray Technician to join our orthopedic imaging team. You will explain procedures clearly, position patients correctly, and operate X-ray equipment safely to produce diagnostic images of bones, joints, and soft tissues.

This role emphasizes accurate record-keeping, quality control, and collaboration with a broader clinical team while delivering compassionate, patient-centered care in a busy clinic.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT certification in Radiography (preferred) or eligibility.
• 1+ year of X-Ray Technician experience (preferred).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team.
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach.

Responsibilities

• Explain procedures clearly, address concerns, and ensure patients are positioned correctly for musculoskeletal imaging.
• Operate X-ray equipment safely and efficiently to produce diagnostic digital images of bones, joints, and soft tissues.
• Apply proper immobilization techniques and follow established safety protocols at all times.
• Perform routine checks on X-ray equipment and adhere to quality control standards.
• Monitor and restock X-ray supplies as needed to ensure smooth clinic operations.
• Record procedures and imaging results accurately and efficiently within the electronic medical record system.
