Job summary

OrthoAtlanta, a leading orthopedic practice in Georgia, seeks a dedicated X-Ray Technologist to join our on-site team in Lawrenceville. You will perform musculoskeletal imaging with precise patient positioning and quality control in a fast-paced clinic.

You’ll operate imaging equipment, ensure safety protocols, and collaborate with physicians and allied health staff to deliver accurate diagnostic images and exceptional patient care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Certified by ARRT in Radiography (preferred) or eligible to obtain ARRT certification.
• 1+ year of experience as an X-Ray Technician (preferred)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team.

Responsibilities

• Explain procedures clearly and position patients for musculoskeletal imaging.
• Operate X-ray equipment safely to produce diagnostic digital images.
• Apply immobilization techniques and follow safety protocols.
• Perform routine checks on X-ray equipment and quality control.
• Restock X-ray supplies and ensure smooth clinic operations.
• Record procedures and imaging results in the EMR system.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers and support staff.

What You'll Do

As an X-Ray Technologist at OrthoAtlanta, you’ll:

• Explain procedures clearly, address concerns, and ensure patients are positioned correctly for musculoskeletal imaging
• Operate X-ray equipment safely and efficiently to produce diagnostic digital images of bones, joints, and soft tissues
• Apply proper immobilization techniques and follow established safety protocols at all times
• Perform routine checks on X-ray equipment and adhere to quality control standards
• Monitor and restock X-ray supplies as needed to ensure smooth clinic operations
• Record procedures and imaging results accurately and efficiently within the electronic medical record system
• Pays close attention to detail and values accuracy in diagnostic imaging
• Communicates clearly and compassionately with patients and healthcare providers
• Thrives in a busy clinical setting and can manage multiple imaging requests efficiently
• Works independently while also collaborating with a broader clinical team

What You’ll Need

• Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiography (preferred) or eligible to obtain ARRT certification
