Job summary

CareNow, owned by HCA Healthcare, seeks an X-Ray Technician (LSO) in Colorado to deliver timely radiology procedures and coordinate with clinic staff. Duties include quality control, processing specimens, and maintaining accurate logs.

Cross-training in front desk tasks and potential shift/floating assignments are included. The role requires graduation from an accredited Radiologic Sciences program, Colorado LSO license, and ability to obtain BLS within 30 days.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited school of Radiological Sciences.
• LSO - Limited Scope Operator license in Colorado.
• 1+ year of clinical experience in patient care.
• Ability to obtain a BLS Certification within 30 days of start.
• Office Laboratory Assistant License if required by the state.
• Demonstrated excellence in customer service and strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Must obtain a Federal Breath Alcohol Screening Certification and Federal Drug Screening Certification within 3 months of employment or promotion

Responsibilities

• Perform timely and quality radiology procedures for subsequent evaluation by the attending physician.
• Perform quality control checks/audits on radiologic equipment.
• Perform in-house lab tests including processing specimens for reference laboratories.
• Maintain records and logs on activities including in-house lab work, drug screens, and x-rays sent out to other labs.
• Work closely with the Center Manager, Medical Staff, Front Desk Coordinator and all clinic staff to maintain smooth operations and high customer satisfaction.
• Ensure occupational client’s preference card is followed and occupational procedures are adhered to.
• Is cross trained for front desk duties to include greeting patients, checking patients in/out on computer, End of Day close out procedures, patient interactions, lobby checks and records release.
• You may be required to work alternate shifts and may be required to float to other clinic locations.
• Assist with general patient care when needed.
