Job summary

CARENOW - SOUTH ARLINGTON MSO, part of HCA Healthcare, seeks a PRN X-ray Technician/Medical Assistant to support urgent care operations in Arlington, TX. You will perform imaging, clinical duties, and patient documentation with accurate EHR updates.

The role requires 1+ year of clinical experience, a medical assisting program, and relevant radiology licenses; BLS and screening certifications are required within stated timelines.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of clinical experience in a patient care setting.
• Experience using an EHR system.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program (BOTP).
• GMRT, LMRT, or NCT license in state of residency.
• AAMA certification preferred.
• BLS certification required within 30 days.
• Federal Breath Alcohol Screening and Federal Drug Screening within 3 months.

Responsibilities

• Take vital signs, collect lab specimens, perform EKGs, and administer IM injections.
• Perform x-ray/imaging services per provider orders and update patient charts.
• Collect patient history and document in EHR.
• Apply splints, dressings and bandages as needed.
• Assist with check-in/check-out and audit charts.
• Maintain records for in-house and external lab work.
• Keep patients and visitors informed of clinic progress.
