Job summary

CareNow is seeking a Limited Scope Operator/Medical Assistant to provide compassionate patient care in a fast-paced clinic. The role includes taking vitals, collecting specimens, performing EKGs, and administering IM injections under provider orders.

As an MA/LSO, you will perform imaging services, document histories in the EHR, and assist with front desk tasks as needed. AAMA certification and state RT/LMRT licensing are preferred/required according to residency.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of clinical experience in a patient care setting is helpful.
• Experience using an EHR system is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Take vital signs, collect lab specimens, perform EKGs, and administer IM injections.
• Perform x-ray/imaging services according to provider’s orders and update patient charts.
• Collect patient history and document in the EHR.
• May apply splints, dressings and bandages.
• Assist with check-in/check-out and auditing charts.
• Maintain records and logs for radiology, in-house lab work, drug screens, and external lab work.
• Keep patients and visitors informed of clinic progress.
