Job summary

MD Now Urgent Care in Jacksonville, Florida is seeking an X-ray Technician / Medical Assistant to provide expert patient care. You will join a dedicated team committed to caring for patients and perform tasks such as taking vital signs, collecting lab specimens, and conducting imaging services.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of clinical experience in a patient care setting.
• Must obtain a Federal Breath Alcohol Screening Certification and Drug Screening Certification within 3 months.

Responsibilities

• Take vital signs, collect lab specimens, perform EKGs, and administer IM injections.
• Perform all x-ray/imaging services according to provider’s orders.
• Collect patient history and document EHR appropriately.

Skills

Clinical experience in a patient care setting

EHR system proficiency

BLS Certification

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent

Accredited school of Medical Assistants or approved program

Radiological Technologist (RT) or Basic X-ray Machine Operator (BMXO/BMO) license

Current certification from AAMA (preferred)
