Qualifications

• 1+ year of clinical experience in a patient care setting is helpful.
• Experience using an EHR system is beneficial.
• Must obtain Federal Breath-Alcohol Screening Certification and Federal Drug Screening Certification within 3 months.

Responsibilities

• Take vital signs, collect lab specimens, perform EKGs, and administer IM injections.
• Perform all x-ray services according to provider's orders.
• Collect patient history and document EHR appropriately.

Skills

Clinical experience in a patient care setting

Experience using EHR systems

Ability to take vital signs

Administering IM injections

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent

Graduate of an accredited school of Medical Assistants

Radiological Technologist or BMXO license

Current BLS Certification
