Job summary

MD Now Urgent Care in Florida is seeking an X-ray Technician / Medical Assistant to join our team. You will provide patient care, perform imaging as ordered, and support daily clinic operations with a patient-centered approach.

The role requires at least 1 year of clinical experience, EHR proficiency, and appropriate licenses/certifications, including RT/BMXO and AAMA where applicable. This position offers an incentive program and potential sign-on bonuses.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of clinical experience in a patient care setting is helpful.
• Experience using an EHR system is beneficial.
• Current BLS certification is required within 30 days of start.
• Graduate of an accredited school of Medical Assistants or completion of an approved program (BOTP) is required.
• Radiological Technologist (RT) or BMXO/BMO license is required in state of residency.
• Current certification from the AAMA is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Take vital signs, collect lab specimens, perform EKGs, and administer IM injections.
• Perform x-ray/imaging services according to provider’s orders and update patient charts.
• Collect patient history and document in the EHR.
• Apply splints, dressings, and bandages as needed.
• Assist with check-in/check-out and audit charts.
• Maintain records and logs for in-house and out-sourced lab work.
• Keep patients and visitors informed of clinic progress.
