Qualifications
1+ year of clinical experience in a patient care setting is helpful.
Experience using an EHR system is beneficial.
Current certification from the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) is preferred.
Must obtain a Federal Breath Alcohol Screening and Drug Screening Certification within 3 months of employment.
Responsibilities
Take vital signs and collect lab specimens.
Perform x-ray/imaging services and update patient charts.
Collect patient history and document in the EHR.
Maintain records for in-house lab work and audits.
Keep patients informed of clinic progress.
