Job summary

CareNow urgent care, part of HCA Healthcare, Inc., seeks an X-ray Tech/Medical Assistant to deliver patient-centered care in a fast-paced clinic in Utah. You will perform vital signs, EKGs, IM injections, radiology procedures, and chart documentation, while supporting front-end operations and patient flow.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma, completion of a Medical Assistant program, RT/LMRT license in-state, and BLS certification within 30 days.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of clinical experience in patient care.
• Experience using an EHR system is beneficial.
• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program (BOTP) is required.
• Radiological Technologist (RT) or LMRT license is required in state of residency.
• Current certification from the AAMA is preferred.
• BLS certification required within 30 days of start.
• Federal Breath Alcohol and Drug Screening certifications must be obtained within 3 months.

Responsibilities

• Take vital signs, collect specimens, perform EKGs, and administer IM injections.
• Perform x-ray/imaging services per provider orders and update patient charts.
• Collect patient history and document in EHR.
• Apply splints, dressings, and bandages as needed.
• Assist with check-in/check-out and chart auditing.
• Maintain radiology and lab records and logs.
• Keep patients informed of clinic progress.
