Job summary

Urgent Team in Maryville, TN seeks experienced ARRT Radiology or Limited License X-Ray Techs to join a busy urgent care team. The role involves operating diagnostic radiology equipment, developing films, and supporting Medical Assistant duties in a fast-paced setting.

The candidate will perform patient prep, assist with procedures, ensure radiation safety, maintain equipment, and document visits per policy. A rotating 36-40 hour week and weekend coverage are typical.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• BLS Certification.
• TN State X-Ray License.
• ARRT Certification preferred.
• Experience as Medical Assistant is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients promptly in waiting area, exam room or X-ray room.
• Communicate wait times and guide patients to the next step in care.
• Provide solutions to patient problems and assist in emergent situations.
• Perform follow-up calls with a sense of urgency.
• Assist front desk with patient check-in/out when needed.
• Document vital signs, history, medications, allergies and other pertinent information.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

BLS Certification

TN State X-Ray License

ARRT Certification preferred
