Job summary

ChenMed in Illinois is seeking a dedicated X-Ray Technician to perform radiographic exams, ensure ALARA principles, and support physicians.

You will position patients, assist with procedures, maintain records, and uphold safety standards. Travel up to 30% may be required to cover multiple centers; weekend and holiday availability may be needed.

A Radiologic Technology program graduate with BLS is required; 1–2 years experience preferred; EMR experience helpful.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Radiological Technology program.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within first 90 days.
• Licensed and/or certified as required by state regulations.
• EMR experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Position patient under X-ray machine and adjust exposure switches.
• Assist physicians with procedures, EKGs, phlebotomy, and injections.
• Prepare reports and maintain radiology records and logs.
• Maintain supplies and OSHA safety standards; document accurately.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
