Job summary

ZEISS in Dublin, CA is seeking a skilled technician to set up, operate, and maintain precision electromechanical assemblies for X-ray source production. You will follow strict procedures and quality standards while contributing to high-yield production and a cleanroom environment.

The role requires 2 years of professional education and 6–10 years manufacturing experience, with opportunities to train others and advance within a lean, team-focused setting.

Qualifications

• AA or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.
• 6–10 years of manufacturing experience.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and tolerances.
• Experience with high vacuum systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform precision assembly of advanced electromechanical systems and subassemblies.
• Follow procedures, work instructions, and drawings to meet build requirements.
• Maintain cleanroom environment through best practices and maintenance.
• Conduct QA tests and rework with R&D and manufacturing engineers.
• Execute alignment, cabling, routing, PCB testing, programming, and calibration.
• Generate and review assembly procedures and schematics; support material flow.
