Zusammenfassung

ZEISS is seeking a seasoned X-ray Source Production Line Manager in Dublin, CA to own the ZXR1 line, oversee daily planning, staffing, safety, quality, and cost, and collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Finance, and Planning teams. You will lead technicians, drive continuous improvement, and ensure a capable, predictable operation.

The role requires 10+ years in manufacturing leadership, a strong SAP background, and a track record in high-tech or complex assembly environments.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years manufacturing/ops leadership.
• Experience planning daily production, leading frontline employees.
• Strong focus on safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets.
• Knowledge of SAP ERP: work orders, routing, BOMs, labor reporting, inventory.
• Lean manufacturing tools: 5S, Kaizen, NCR, CAPA, 8D, root-cause analysis.
• Clear, decisive communicator who drives accountability.

Aufgaben

• Own the daily, weekly, and long-range production plan for the ZXR1 line.
• Lead frontline technicians; assign resources and monitor results.
• Manage KPI performance: safety, yield, throughput, on-time shipment.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Quality, and Planning to maintain production readiness.
