Job summary

ZEISS in Dublin, CA seeks an experienced Electrical Engineer to own electrical integration and power distribution for X-ray imaging platforms in the semiconductor space. This hybrid role involves hands-on troubleshooting and cross-disciplinary collaboration across software, mechanical, optical, and systems teams.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering with 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience with complex electro-mechanical systems and capital equipment.
• Experience in development, test, or engineering lab environments.
• Experience supporting regulatory certification (UL, CE, SEMI) preferred.
• X-ray, optics, semiconductor equipment, or advanced instrumentation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical integration and power distribution design for X-ray imaging systems for semiconductor customers.
• Design, develop, maintain, and document electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and power architectures.
• Develop and prototype cable harnesses, electro-mechanical assemblies, and PCBs.
• Support subsystem and system integration with software, mechanical, optical, and systems teams.
• Troubleshoot electrical and electro-mechanical issues in development, manufacturing, and field support.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for manufacturing, service, installation, and engineering.
