Job summary

WellNow Urgent Care is seeking a dedicated Radiologic Technologist to join our expanding team. The role involves startup and operation of X-Ray equipment, traveling to multiple locations within the assigned region, and ensuring accurate imaging and patient safety.

We offer competitive pay starting at $33.50 per hour, based on experience, plus comprehensive benefits, CME reimbursement, and opportunities for growth as we expand our presence across markets.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School degree or equivalent required.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program, or a current student with an upcoming graduation date within the next 4-6 months (offer contingent upon successful graduation and ability to obtain required certifications and licensures).
• Active ARRT Certification and Registration
• Applicable state licensure (as required by state)
• Active Driver’s License

Responsibilities

• Start up and shut down all X-Ray equipment.
• Identify patient and confirm examination orders.
• Travel to designated locations within assigned region to perform X-Ray exams.
• Maintain fleet vehicle logs and daily checklist.
• Communicate with location teams to coordinate care.
• Prepare patients for radiologic procedures and perform x-rays.
• Record patient history and observations from radiologic exams.
• Use radiation protection and shielding materials.
• Ensure equipment is functioning and report malfunctions.
• Complete radiologic procedures in EMR and assist in billing.
• Obtain pre-authorization for CT scans.
• Confirm X-Ray exam in PACS and report in patient chart.
• Clarify discrepant radiology readings with the provider.
• Restock and clean sites with team members.
• Participate in quality control and assurance program.
• Provide basic medical assisting support and triage calls.
