Job summary

WellNow Urgent Care in Orland Park, IL is seeking a part-time Radiologic Technologist to perform X-ray procedures with a focus on patient care and safety. You will set up and operate radiology equipment, verify orders, and document in the EMR while maintaining quality controls.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program or current student nearing graduation.
• Active ARRT Certification and applicable state licensure.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent patient care and customer service skills.
• Strong understanding of radiology safety and shielding.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate X-Ray equipment per procedures.
• Identify patient and confirm exam orders.
• Prepare patients and perform radiologic procedures.
• Obtain patient history and note observations.
• Ensure radiation safety and shielding practices.
• Document procedures in EMR and assist with billing notes.
• Obtain CT pre-authorization.
• Verify X-Ray in PACS and ensure report is available.
• Stock and clean site; participate in quality control.
• Provide basic medical assisting and triage calls.
