WellNow Urgent Care is seeking a dedicated Radiologic Technologist to join our team and deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced urgent care setting. The role involves operating X-Ray equipment, ensuring proper patient identification, and performing radiologic exams with strict adherence to safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Mastery of best practice x-ray procedures and protocols.
• Understanding of anatomy and physiology necessary to perform x-ray testing.
• Knowledge of radiology equipment and safety hazards.

Responsibilities

• Start up and shut down all X-Ray equipment.
• Identify patient and confirm the examination ordered.
• Prepare patients for radiologic procedures and perform x-rays per safety and care standards.
• Obtain patient history and document observations from radiologic exam.
• Use radiation protection and shielding materials.
• Ensure equipment functionality and report malfunctions to Lead Radiologic Technologist.
• Document radiologic procedures in EMR and assist with billing notes.
• Obtain pre-authorization for CT scans.
• Confirm exam in PACS and ensure reports are in patient charts.
