WellNow Urgent Care in Ogdensburg, NY seeks a Radiologic Technologist to perform X-Ray procedures and ensure patient safety. The role requires ARRT certification, active licensure, and strong anatomy knowledge.

Formación

• Mastery of best practice x-ray procedures and protocols.
• Understanding anatomy and physiology for x-ray testing.
• Knowledge of radiology equipment and safety hazards.
• Capable of troubleshooting equipment issues.

Responsabilidades

• Start up and shut down X-Ray equipment.
• Identify patient and confirm examination order.
• Prepare patients and perform radiologic procedures.
• Obtain patient history and notes observations.
• Use radiation protection and shielding materials.
• Ensure equipment functioning and report malfunctions.
• Process radiologic procedures in EMR for billing.
• Obtain pre-authorization for CT scans when needed.
• Confirm X-Ray exam in PACS and ensure reports are available.
• Clarify discrepancies with medical providers.
• Stock and clean imaging sites; support team.
• Participate in quality control and assurance programs.
• Assist with basic medical assisting and occupational medicine tasks.
