Job summary

Qualifications

• Completion of formal training in an approved School of Radiologic Technology.
• NYS licensure as a Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) upon hire.
• ARRT certification with CE credits upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Produces high quality X-ray images by conducting exams safely and efficiently.
• Verifies provider orders and follows imaging department policies.
• Understands anatomy, positioning, and immobilization as needed.
• Receives training and supervision to perform required tasks.
• Performs general radiology studies and completes associated paperwork and PACS transmission.
