Job summary

University of Rochester is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to produce high quality X-ray images while maintaining safety and efficiency. You will verify orders, position patients, and ensure correct exposure factors, using PACS and assistive devices as needed.

Responsibilities include performing general section studies, transferring patients with lift devices, and maintaining accurate records for radiologist interpretation. NYS CRT licensure and ARRT CE credits are required at hire.

Qualifications

• Completion of formal training in an approved School of Radiologic Technology.
• CRT - Certified Radiologic Technologist with NY licensure required at hire.
• ARRT certification with CE credits required at hire.

Responsibilities

• Produce high quality X-ray images in a safe and efficient manner.
• Verify orders and follow imaging policies with provider collaboration.
• Position patients and select exposure factors for diagnostic images.
• Operate and transfer patients with assistive devices and PACS handling.
• Perform general section studies and assist further with daily tasks.
