Job summary

Qualifications

• Completion of formal training in an approved School of Radiologic Technology.
• Maintains current licensure as required by NYS and ARRT.
• Ensures compliance with imaging department policies and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality X-ray images following orders and safety protocols.
• Properly position patients and select exposure factors to optimize image quality.
• Verify patient identity and exam details in the EHR and PACS; prepare room and equipment.
• Transfer patients using assistive devices and document studies accurately for radiologist review.
• May train or guide junior staff as needed and perform other duties as assigned.
