Job summary

VillageMD is seeking an X-Ray & Medical Technologist to perform high‑quality X‑ray imaging and document encounters in the EMR. The role includes assisting physicians, coordinating referrals, and supporting aftercare and radiologists with imaging studies in a fast-paced urgent care setting.

You will need graduation from an accredited X-ray Technologist program and 4–6 months of experience, with strong communication and organizational skills, and bilingual ability preferred depending on site.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited X-ray Technologist program.
• 4-6 months experience as a X-ray Technologist.
• Explain, process, and position patient for X-ray; adjusting restriction devices; moving and adjusting equipment to set exposure factors.

Responsibilities

• Take quality X-ray images following protocol with efficiency and accuracy.
• Document encounters into the EMR in a timely manner.
• Perform common X-ray studies (Chest, Extremity, Spinal, Abdomen) within typical timeframes.
• Assist physician with procedures and coordinate with care team as needed.
• Maintain QA log book and arrange imaging CDs for patients.
