Job summary

NSPC External seeks a Radiology Technologist to operate radiologic equipment and produce diagnostic radiographs in a clinical setting. You will prepare patients, position them correctly, and ensure optimal image quality while maintaining a safe environment.

The candidate should have a JRCERT-accredited radiologic technology program, an active state license where required, and ARRT registration or equivalent, with at least six months of X-ray experience.

Qualifications

• Six months of experience in X-Ray and familiarity with routine medical procedures.
• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Graduate of Radiologic Technology program accredited by JRCERT.
• A valid and current state license where employed.
• ARRT registration or equivalent Radiologic Technology credentialing.

Responsibilities

• Operates radiologic equipment to produce diagnostic radiographs.
• Maintains equipment, inventories, and supplies; performs basic maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Ensures safety through infection control, shielding, and exposure management.
• Positions patients and prepares them for procedures; explains procedures to minimize anxiety.
• Adheres to all HIPAA, OSHA, and facility policies; keeps accurate logs and records.
• Performs clerical duties and supports next-day procedure scheduling.
