Job summary

ProSmile is seeking a Dental Assistant with X-ray responsibilities to support clinical teams in our Operations department in Freehold, NJ. You will work under dentists and collaborate with hygienists to ensure efficient patient care and accurate recordkeeping.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, an active X-ray license, CPR certification, and the ability to learn new systems. Prior dental assisting experience is preferred, with flexibility for evenings/weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• NJ/MD/PA licensing requirements: DRT license for NJ/MD or Radiation Health and Safety certificate for PA, or willingness to pursue licensure immediately.
• Certified Dental Assistant preferred.
• 1+ years experience as Dental Assistant preferred.
• X-ray License required.
• Active CPR Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist dentist chairside with patient care and instruments.
• Maintain inventory in operatories and support treatment delivery.
• Adhere to OSHA, HIPAA, and CDC guidelines.
• Coordinate scheduling, follow-up treatment, and record-keeping with patients.
• Perform basic lab tasks such as impressions and model pours.
• Execute other duties as assigned.
