Job summary

ProSmile is seeking a Dental Assistant w/ X-ray to support clinical teams across our NJ-based practices. This role reports to the Dental Practice Manager and requires licensing for NJ/MD/PA radiography, CPR, and a positive patient-focused approach.

You will assist chairside, manage records, schedule follow-ups, and help maintain OSHA/HIPAA compliance while delivering quality care in a fast-paced environment. Evening/weekend flexibility is helpful.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• X-ray License required.
• Active CPR Certification required.
• NJ/MD/PA radiography licensure or licensure in progress required.
• Certified Dental Assistant preferred.
• 1+ years experience as a Dental Assistant preferred.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Chairside assistance and instrument handling during patient care.
• Maintain inventory in operatories and ensure supplies are stocked.
• Adhere to OSHA, HIPAA, and CDC guidelines.
• Assist with scheduling, follow-ups, and record keeping.
• Perform basic lab tasks such as impressions and models for labs.
