Job summary

ProSmile in New Jersey is seeking a Dental Assistant with X-Ray to support our clinical team across fast-paced dental offices. Under the supervision of dentists, you will assist chairside, handle records, and help schedule patient care and follow-up treatments.

The role requires an active NJ Registered Dental Assistant license, X-ray license, CPR certification, and the ability to work evenings or weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Dental Radiologic Technologist license or willingness to pursue licensure immediately required.
• 1+ years work experience as a Dental Assistant preferred.
• X-ray License required; NJ Registered Dental Assistant license.
• Active CPR Certification is required.
• Willing to work evenings and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Chairside assistance and patient care as directed.
• Maintain inventory in operatories.
• Adhere to OSHA, HIPAA, and CDC guidelines.
• Schedule appointments and handle recordkeeping.
• Perform basic lab procedures such as impressions and models.
• Place and remove arch wires and assist with crowns/temporaries.
