X-Plant Manufacturing Engineer – Final Assembly

Airbus U.S. Manufacturing Facility in Mobile, AL is seeking an X-Plant Manufacturing Engineer for the Final Assembly Line (FAL).

You will manage non-conformities, design deviations, OSW, and late changes to support production, and coordinate with European plants, on-site teams, Quality, and Suppliers. You will provide technical support to X-Plant production, lead plant activities with minimal supervision, and participate in regular supplier meetings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering fields (Aeronautical/Industrial/Mechanical/Electrical).
• 0–2 years preferred in manufacturing environment, aviation preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret 2D drawings and technical standards.
• Experience with 3D modeling tools recommended (Catia/SolidWorks).
• Willingness to travel up to 10% domestically/internationally.

Responsabilités

• Serve as FAL focal point coordinating plant activities and suppliers.
• Provide technical support to X-Plant production.
• Act as primary responsible for Plant activities with autonomy.
• Verify and document non-conformities and OSW approvals.
• Organize regular supplier meetings and reviews to drive improvements.
