Job summary

Airbus Americas, Inc. is seeking an XPlant Electrical Rework Technician to support Mobile Manufacturing. Responsibilities include electrical rework, wiring and harness changes, and non-standard tasks within safety and engineering standards.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in aircraft systems and electrical rework; 5+ years in aviation is a plus. On-site role with access to OSHA-compliant tools and continuous improvement opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience in Aircraft systems and electrical rework.
• Preferred: 5+ years hands-on experience in Aviation industry.
• Preferred: Completed vocational training in Aircraft electrics/avionics/systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform non-standard electrical rework, wire changes, harness changes, and related tasks.
• Conduct self-inspections and delegated inspections per work orders.
• Collaborate with engineering support to define rework/repair solutions.
• Work autonomously in a team to meet Mobile FAL and Flight Line milestones.
• Document tasks per Airbus procedures and use appropriate tools and jigs.
