Job summary

Airbus Americas, Inc. in Mobile, AL is looking for an X-Plant Manufacturing Engineer to join the Final Assembly Line team. You will manage non-conformities, design deviations, and changes, coordinating with European plants, on-site teams, and suppliers to maintain production quality.

Responsibilities include responding to technical questions, creating work orders, and attending handovers while ensuring compliance with Airbus processes and safety standards. Remote work is not indicated.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Aeronautical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
• 0-2 years of relevant work experience within a manufacturing environment, preferably aviation.
• 10% Domestic and International travel.
• Must possess excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.
• Experience with 3D modeling software (Catia, SolidWorks, etc.). (Recommended)
• Knowledge of Airbus processes and methods.
• Ability to work in a team environment and with customers and channels.
• Knowledge of SAP and common applications.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate Plant activities with suppliers and teams.
• Provide technical support to X-Plant production.
• Establish/verify technical content of non-conformities and validate in documentation.
• Organize regular meetings with suppliers and partners.
• Ensure non-conformity management according to Airbus rules.
