Job summary

Samsung Austin Semiconductor seeks an Engineering Manager to lead the Water Treatment and Reclaim (WTR) organization and oversee Industrial Waste Treatment (IWT) engineering. You will drive 24/7 operational excellence, safety, and innovation across water and wastewater utilities and infrastructure projects.

This leadership role focuses on reliability, capacity expansion, and sustainability in a high-tech manufacturing environment, with executive-level collaboration and project delivery

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 12 years engineering experience in water/wastewater or facilities systems.
• At least 6 years in leadership roles, preferably in high-tech or large-scale manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a high-performing multidisciplinary engineering organization.
• Set and drive performance expectations aligned with safety and environmental goals.
• Oversee safe and efficient operations and maintenance of UPW, IWT, and water distributions systems.
• Lead long-term capital planning and execution of infrastructure expansion projects.

Position Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Engineering Manager to lead our Water Treatment and Reclaim (WTR) organization. This leader will oversee the Industrial Waste Treatment (IWT) Engineering. You will be at the forefront of ensuring 24/7 operational excellence, safety, and innovation across our water/wastewater utilities and infrastructure projects.

This is a high-visibility leadership role responsible for driving the performance of utility systems that are essential to semiconductor manufacturing, as well as leading capital improvement projects that ensure reliability, expand capacity, and support our long-term vision for sustainability and innovation.

The current base salary range for this role is between $147,000 - $200,500. Individual base pay rates will depend on factors including duties, work location, education, skills, qualifications and experience. Total compensation for this position will include a competitive benefits package and may include participation in company incentive compensation programs, which are based on factors to include organizational and individual performance.
