Samsung Austin Semiconductor seeks an Engineering Manager to lead the Water Treatment and Reclaim (WTR) organization and oversee IWT engineering. You will drive 24/7 operational excellence, safety, and innovation across water/wastewater utilities and infrastructure projects.

You will lead capital upgrades, coordinate design, budgeting and commissioning, and partner with EH S, government agencies, and fab teams to maintain world-class safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or related discipline.
• 12+ years engineering experience in water/wastewater or facilities systems, with at least 6 years in leadership.
• Experience in high-tech, semiconductor, or large-scale manufacturing environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a high-performing, multidisciplinary engineering organization.
• Set performance expectations aligned with operational, safety, and environmental goals.
• Oversee safe and efficient operation of UPW, IWT, and water systems 24/7.

Position Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Engineering Manager to lead our Water Treatment and Reclaim (WTR) organization. This leader will oversee the Industrial Waste Treatment (IWT) Engineering. You will be at the forefront of ensuring 24/7 operational excellence, safety, and innovation across our water/wastewater utilities and infrastructure projects.

This is a high-visibility leadership role responsible for driving the performance of utility systems that are essential to semiconductor manufacturing, as well as leading capital improvement projects that ensure reliability, expand capacity, and support our long-term vision for sustainability and innovation.

The current base salary range for this role is between $147,000 - $200,500. Individual base pay rates will depend on factors including duties, work location, education, skills, qualifications and experience. Total compensation for this position will include a competitive benefits package and may include participation in company incentive compensation programs, which are based on factors to include organizational and individual performance.
