We are recruiting a Writer and Author (Print Journalism) for a proposed contract supporting the Hospital Communications Department at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland. You will find and tell the medical center's stories of clinical advances, research, patient journeys and staff achievements, from pitch to publication.
On site, full time, at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, 8901 Rockville Pike, Bethesda, MD 20889. Monday through Friday during normal business hours (about 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.), except federal holidays. Occasional support outside normal hours may be needed for events or emergencies. This position is not remote or hybrid.
Pay range: $95,000 to $125,000 per year. The salary offered within this range will depend on factors such as experience, skills and qualifications for the role.
