Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year of cash handling experience; teller experience a plus.
• Excellent listening and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office and basic software.
• Passion for providing outstanding service to members.
• Ability to work hard, find solutions, and have fun.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional, WOW service to internal and external members.
• Receive cash and checks for deposit into members' accounts.
• Cash checks for members.
• Accept loan and credit card payments.
• Make transactions between accounts as instructed by members.
• Place holds on deposited items for uncollected funds.
• Disburse cashier's checks, money orders, and gift cards.
• Identify non-negotiable and fraudulent checks to avoid losses.
• Accurately balance and close cash drawer at end of day.
• Promote and refer credit union products and services.
