Job summary

24 Seven is seeking an experienced Woven Tops Technical Designer for a freelance role in Midtown, NYC. The position covers 32-40 hours per week, onsite 4-5 days, for 2+ months with a pay rate of $40/hr. You will lead development through final approvals, handling technical packages and fit coordination.

You’ll collaborate with design, product development, and production teams to resolve issues and ensure precise specifications and timely sample approvals.

Qualifications

• Experience with woven tops technical design and development.
• Strong garment construction knowledge and methodical fit analysis.
• Ability to manage fit and specification work from development to final approval.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed technical packages, development specifications, and garment measurements for woven tops.
• Conduct garment fittings and evaluate samples for construction, fit, proportion, and quality.
• Prepare clear, accurate fit comments and communicate revisions to vendors and cross-functional partners.
• Partner with design, product development, and production teams to resolve technical issues and support on-time sample approvals.
• Ensure all specifications, grading, construction details, and fit standards are documented and consistently applied.
