Job summary

24 Seven Talent is seeking a Technical Designer (Mid-Senior) for Children's wear, onsite in New York City. You will ensure fit, construction, quality, and manufacturability from development through production, translating design intent into production-ready products.

Collaborate with Design, Product Development, Sourcing, and overseas factories to meet cost targets, timelines, and brand standards. The ideal candidate has strong technical expertise, 5-8+ years in apparel technical design, and

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Technical Design, or related field or equivalent experience (required).
5-8+ years of apparel technical design experience.
Strong knowledge of garment construction, patternmaking, grading, and fit across multiple categories.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Adobe Illustrator.
Experience working with overseas factories and managing multiple styles.

Responsibilities

Create and manage development from first fit through production approval.
Develop and maintain detailed technical packages with specs, measurements and tolerances.
Communicate technical comments to vendors and factories to ensure clarity.
Collaborate with Design, Product Development and Sourcing to meet cost, quality and delivery goals.
